Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that challenges conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized release, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.
The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Items and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
